Henchwench

Overall winner of the Australian Championships of cosplay in 2016, and representing the Crown Championships of Cosplay in Chicago, Henchwench (Clare Mccutcheon) is a cosplayer, props maker, mad gamer and all-round nerd.

At the age of 14 Henchwench worked part-time and Weta Workshops on the Lord of the Rings movies in the weapons and armour department and later studied a degree in costume at NIDA.

Clare’s cosplay includes characters from Blizzard games, Fallout, Quake Champions, and Assassin’s Creed.

“The most rewarding part of costume creation for me is to have a hands-on approach to the building of a costume in its entirety, from start to finish…. That’s not something you get to do in a typical costume workshop.”

Scrap Shops Props

Gamer, cosplayer and coffee addict, Scrap Shops Props (Oarin Tremont) has combined his background of engineering with larping to build amazing cosplay.

Scrap Shop Props cosplay has included Garrus Varkarian from Mass Effect 3, a huge 7-foot Reinhardt which premiered at the Sydney Overwatch World Cup, and a Doom Slayer which won Best in Show at Sydney Supanova 2018.

For Oarin cosplay has been a big confidence boost which changed the way he approached the world. He looks forward to sharing his knowledge with GAMMA.CON Wagga 2019 guests.
