Have you ever wanted to make your own games? Want to create 3D characters of your own and design their worlds? Ever seen a character walking slo-mo away from an explosion and thinking “I’m gonna try that at home!” – Well you can! … As long as it’s with visual effects!
The AIE (Academy of Interactive Entertainment) is Australia’s leading educator in all of these areas – They teach people to make the games and movies we all love to play and watch and they make sure learning how is just as fun!
Coming up on Saturday the 16th of May (the weekend before GAMMA.CON!) AIE are having an open day where you’ll be able to see the amazing work from their current and previous students as well as speak one on one with their teachers about starting your own creative career. Head to http://www.aie.edu.au/a…/aie-open-day-saturday-16th-may-2015to find out all about it!
If you can’t make the open day – No worries! AIE are coming to GAMMA.CON! They’ll have a stall where you can ask them any questions you might have about the industry, or you could attend their panel where VFX industry veteran Dave Scotland will share his knowledge about creating stunning visual effects.
AIE are the future of Australian game development and with their help, you could be too.
