GAMMA.CON hosts a wide variety of Video Game events including Tournaments, Free play area. GAMMA.CON has teamed up with AIE to bring the hottest local independent game developers. We also have a dedicated Tabletop section, which includes new board games directly from the games developers, Trading Card Games and RPG’s. Our Tournament schedule will be up online leading up to the event so keep an eye out on our website for details.


GAMMA.CON is proud to offer a wide variety of entertaining and challenging tournaments suitable for both hardcore competitors and fans that just want to play their favourite game. We run tournaments on all modern consoles, as well as PC, retro consoles and board games.

eSports, short for electronic sports, are the top-level matches between superhuman, talented gamers as they strive to defeat their opponents on a range of digital battlefields.

GAMMA.CON will be hosting eSports competitions on stage, with a horde of local talent playing all of your favourite competitive games.

Our free-play area is a great place to hang out, take a break from your busy festival schedule, meet new people and challenge them to a match in pretty much anything; from the hottest new games to the classics. If you want to check out a game you’ve not yet had the chance to play, warm up before a tournament, or just sit down with your friends and game, then head over to the free play area. Simply check out a station and the game you want to play, and you’ll be all set.

Tabletop Gaming

GAMMA.CON will once again be hosting a massive tabletop gaming area, for all of your cardboard related activities. Sign up for a board game tournament, borrow a game from our collection to play with your friends, challenge all comers in your favourite card game, or join an RPG session run by one of our friendly volunteers.

Board Gaming

Come on in and borrow a game from the library to play with your friends in our free play area. We have a big selection, with all your favourite games and a bunch of others you may have never seen before. If you’re interested in trying out a new game but aren’t sure how to play, ask one of our volunteers and they’ll help you figure out the rules and find opponents. On top of this, we will also be running tournaments for some of your favourite board games and learn-to-play sessions for anybody who’s interested in sitting down and learning about a new game.
