National TV personality and Canberra’s favourite son Andy Trieu made his way in the world of TV and presenting and now is here at GAMMA.CON to recount his path and give young up and coming presenters the benefit of his experiences on how to break into the world of television and know about the business and what it can mean for your future.

A panel discussion on the evolution of the video game movie and a discussion of everyone’s favourite video-game movies.

Tabletop game developers who have run success Kickstarter campaigns are here to discuss their experiences and offer hints and suggestions on how to go about running a Kickstarter campaign.

Our Panelists discuss some of the steps in between; from coming up with ideas, finishing that book and seeking out a publisher and some of their own experiences on the road to becoming established writers. With Scott Baker (Rules of Knowledge), TJ Burgin (The Tails of Two Dragons), Ian McHugh (Angel Dust), and Kaaron Warren (The Grief Hole).

Writer/Director Declan Shrubb, Producer Dan Sanguineti, a ScreenACT representative and a Special Guest will take you through their journey and experiences in making films in the ACT.

You're not SUPPOSED to just cable tie your costume together, but if you're crunching a deadline, who cares!? Henchwench provides a series of time-saving and sanity-saving shortcuts.

15:30 – 16:30 Wirru Scaling and Proportioning
How a costume looks on paper might not be how it translates into reality. Unless you are built like an 8 foot orc, it may be hard to get that same overpowering look when you build that epic armour set for your own human shaped body. A.K. Wirru is here to help you in scaling and proportioning different kinds of armour, props and costumes, to get that same character’s look no matter if it’s a giant robot, berserking warrior or high school sailor suit.
