GAMMA.CON 2015/2016 AGM Documents

Hey everyone!

There’s now a week to go until the GAMMA.CON Society’s AGM and we’re sure you’re all getting super excited for it.

You can now find the Agenda for the AGM here. (Hopefully the link works XD)

As you will probablyy notice, there are a couple Constituional amendments that we’re putting in so that we can official Incorporate as a non-profit association in the ACT. So if you wanna check out the current Constitution to get your head around it (and/or if you like reading 15 pages worth of fairly boring association regulations) then you can find the Consitution here.

Also as a note- if you wish to vote at the meeting you will need to be a member of the GAMMA.CON Society. You can find a copy of the Membership Application Form here. Membership is free and we encourage anyone who is keen to support GAMMA.CON and Canberra Pop-Culture to consider joining. You can email the completed application to or bring it along with you the the AGM on Saturday.

If you are already a member but need to renew your membership for 2015/2016- the renewal form is convineiently (and coincidentally XD) the same as the application form, so download it and either email it to or bring it along with you the the AGM on Saturday.

In addition if you are/would like to be a member but cannot attend the AGM on Saturday, you can also complete an Appointment of Proxy form to appoint either someone you know or the Chairperson of the AGM to be able to count your vote towards motions at the AGM. Plus it counts as attendance that counts towards quorum so if you can’t make it please do send in a proxy form so we can definitely make quorum for the AGM.

Applicationf for Officebearing positions close tonight at midnight so if you want to apply for those positions get it in quick to

And if you have any other questions- send them to the Secretary too (hopefully you know their email address by this stage)

See you all next week!
